Manhatton: the photography of Norman Hatton
Right from the cover, this is a book that did little for me - perhaps one needs to be a fan of Mr Hatton's rather than
a fan of the publisher's. The cover gives a dark taste of what is to follow - a series of posed shots showing off light
and dark.
Using a combination of black and white models, the images are of bodies in various poses, or shot against netting, parts of torsos, and pictures of respectable bulges stretching against latex shorts. Cute blacks, whites, latinos and asians; residents of Toronto are brought together in this very dark volume.
