URL Manager Pro
I collect URLs the way some people collect small change, they just pile up in their hundreds. Collecting,
categorising, sorting, searching and de-duplicating several thousand URLs can be a chore, unless you have a good tool at
your disposal.
URL Manager Pro (UMP) is without peer. It seamlessly meshes with either Netscape or Internet Explorer and places it's
own menu in the menubar that allows you to easily capture the current page's URL or grab all the URL;s on the page . You
can specify any folder or folders within the UMP window and it will be turned into a heirarchical menu of URLs in your browser.
The UMP menu even allows you to easily swap between the windows the application has open from your browser. It can be easily
set to autoload with your browser and also open any number of files as it opens.
Within the application itself you can easily sort your URL's into folders and sub folders, find duplicates, sort URLs,
inport and export to your browser hotlist. If you have a copy of Big Brother you can even validate all or a part of your
collection.
I even discovered that it is possible to copy and paste URL lists between UMP and Web Whacker (which is prone to crash
and take its URL list with it.)
