Do you always enjoy sex?
Do you always enjoy sex? Or do you sometimes think about other things or find that sex has lost some of its flavour or romance? Are you just beginning your exploration of your sexuality? Do you wish for guidance and understanding to help you gain more from that most intimate of activities, sex.
Western society has tended to view sexuality as natural but evil, while homosexuality has been relegated to the very depths of human depravity. Sexual education is almost entirely nonexistent in our society: about all one gets is an overview of the biological functions of our genitals and a moral recital about the value of the family. Not much use when all you want to know is how to suck cock or fuck arse; or how to incorporate a condom into sexual play without interrupting the fun.
When you learn to drive a car, you learn the rules of the road, how to use the various tools and functions of the vehicle, and how to get from Point A to Point B without hurting yourself or anyone else.
Fortunately, there are books and teachers who will guide your learning until you reach a level of proficiency suitable to let you lose onto public roads.
Sex is assumed as a "natural" drive and you'll learn all you need as you go along. You're given the basics - "you have a body, she has a body and they're a bit different, son". Rarely, though, are you taught about your own body and I doubt many fathers have said: "...and I love it when your mum runs her tongue along my perineum, son" as they described their own sexual pleasure.
If you were lucky, you may have met men who helped you to learn about how to "do it". You may have watched videos or "read" porn magazines or you may have practised at every chance you got. And you may never have had any complaints! (Has anyone ever said anything nasty to you about sex after the fact?)
Sex is a pleasurable pastime. Passion, creativity and diversity are all a part of the act. Giving and receiving are another part. And the release of great sex can be rewarding and uplifting and lead to other possibilities of expression.
